2009 PCI Information Technology Conference Golf Outing Sponsored by Insuresoft

Marking the 7th consecutive year, Insuresoft, a leading provider of software for property and casualty insurance companies, was the sponsor of the annual Property and Casualty Insurers Association of America’s golf outing at The Westin LaPaloma Resort and Spa.

Golfers were treated to a beautiful day on the course that included lunch, beverages, a 12:30pm shotgun start, prizes and contests along the course that included the beat the pro format on 2 of the holes as well as random hole-in-one contests with prizes ranging from 7 day cruises to $25,000.

This year, the pros were Sara Brown, a current player on the Duramed Futures tour and Marissa Muir, a 4 year collegiate player from the University of Kentucky. The format for beating the pro began with each pro driving a shot prior to each foursome. If the golfers beat the pro’s shot, they immediately won an Insuresoft prize.

As an added element of fun this year, Insuresoft provided hole-in-one contests to all golfers that were randomly placed throughout the course. PCI golfers were given opportunities to win pro shop gift certificates, sets of golf clubs, a 7 day Caribbean cruise for 2 and $25,000 cash for “simply” getting a hole-in-one on select par 3 holes.

Insuresoft continues to support the PCIAA, its members and the initiatives of the committee. Insuresoft announced at the conclusion of the golf outing that they plan on sponsoring the golf outing again in 2010 when the PCI Information Technology Conference holds its annual meeting in San Antonio, TX.
