The data warehouse leverages the business intelligence capabilities within SQL Server by utilizing SQL Integration and Analysis Services to load data into cubes for reporting and analysis. Insuresoft provides base reports, but customers also have the ability to create meaningful reports on their own and share their reports with others. For ad-hoc report creation, many business professionals will use tools such as but not limited to SQL Server Report Builder and Microsoft Excel. The data warehouse provides business professionals the ability to create meaningful reports without having to know the source database structure or how to write complex queries. Reports are easily developed using the data warehouse in order to provide actuaries with robust and flexible management reports.
The Cube Editor provides a snowflake schema of the Claims cube for a client with custom reports for Loss Experience Reports and Premium Reports. Reports can be designed in Excel using Pivot Tables or through other products such as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
