Data Warehouse

The Insuresoft Data Warehouse leverages SQL Analytical Services as well as SQL Reports to provide actuaries with robust and flexible management reports. The Data Warehouse also provides "sandbox" modeling capabilities to analyze rate changes across a book of business.

A bird's eye view demonstrates the cubes and dimensions available in the Diamond Data Warehouse. Data is easily managed in cubes for Claims, Premiums, and Fees, as well as virtual cubes for combined data.

The Diamond System leverages an ODBC-compliant database using the inherent capabilities of Microsoft's SQL Server 2000 to provide carriers with real-time access to valuable customer data. Whether carriers choose to use the existing library of report views to generate reports or the OLAP capabilities of Diamond's data warehouse, the system provides a single source of data to support financial and management reporting needs.

The Cube Editor provides a snowflake schema of the Claims cube for a client with custom reports for Loss Experience Reports and Premium Reports. Reports can be designed in Excel using Pivot Tables or through other products such as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.

The Diamond data warehouse helps carriers "unlock" data captured across operational systems and transform it into useful real-time information that can help fuel timely decisions. By leveraging the OLAP tools and Microsoft Pivot Table Services within Microsoft's SQL Server 2000, carriers can use familiar applications such as Microsoft Excel and Access to generate company specific financial and management reports.
