Insuresoft, formerly the Diamond Division of Applied Systems, is a privately held company owned by Robert Eustace, founder of Applied Systems.
In 1993, Applied Systems developed property and casualty insurance software for carriers by introducing the Diamond System™. In addition to allowing full-featured policy processing, billing and claims, Diamond was the first system to offer true out-of-sequence endorsements.
Development on the Diamond product began in 1992. The first version was a 16-Bit Windows application, which was released to a customer's production environment in 1994. The next version of the product was upgraded to 32-Bit. Today the product has matured into an N-Tiered system that leverages COM+ technology. However, Diamond continues to evolve as resources move some components of the product to Visual Basic.Net.
Diamond's features have grown throughout the years based on customers' needs and feedback. Insuresoft is experienced deploying the product in multiple environments to be utilized through different workflows.
Today, the Diamond System is in use by more than 17 carriers nationwide. Insuresoft's customers have realized unprecedented increases in operating efficiency and seen their agency relationships improve dramatically because of improved service. In fact, one customer moved from a "worst carrier service" rating by its agents to "best carrier service" in just one year.
Each Diamond System user now has a totally flexible infrastructure that will enable them to move quickly into new lines of business and new states whenever opportunity knocks.
