(University Park, IL) October 17, 2018 – Insuresoft, a digital insurance platform provider for property and casualty insurers, today announced a successfully led session at the InsureTech Connect (ITC) 2018 Conference. Insuresoft’s panelists were part of the more than 200 innovators from across the insurance ecosystem that took the stage over two days at ITC 2018.
Insuresoft’s session was titled “InsurTechs and Core Providers Delivering on the Promise of Innovation”, and was moderated by Tony Villa, CEO of Insuresoft. The session included panelists from some of the world’s largest P&C insurers including Jim Streicher, VP Personal Lines, Cincinnati Insurance Companies and Bob Olson, CIO, of Reinsurance at AON as well as Miguel Edwards, CIO, Kemper Life and Health. The panelists also included leaders in the emerging insuretech space. Insurtech panelists included Jeff Brown, President of Kaboodle and Bob Fraday, CEO of Hazard Hub.
The session was packed with conference attendees, as they heard from industry experts on how the rise of insurtech has been a significant factor behind heavy investment in core systems modernization. Each of the panelists provided examples of how their organizations are delivering on the promise of innovation, compelling customer experiences and operational improvements for insurers. A key theme of the discussion centered upon increased expectations related to speed to value and interoperability across the insurance value chain. The panelists all agreed that leveraging the strengths of core systems providers like Insuresoft with the emerging technologies and innovative new data sources from Insurtechs will drive transformation across insurers regardless of size or complexity of their product mix.
“Insuresoft’s session at the recent ITC event positions the true gains insurers can recognize when an incumbent provider collaborates with the InsurTech community, said Karen Furtado, Partner at Strategy Meets Action. “The collaboration creates a real win-win situation for all.”
“It’s becoming clear that collaboration among insurers, core systems providers and InsurTechs is driving transformation in the space,” said Tony Villa, CEO of Insuresoft. “It’s extremely gratifying to hear Insuresoft’s clients and partners are leading the way.”
