Insuresoft Pairs a Live AI Launch With a New Way.com Partnership

Insuresoft arrived at ITC Vegas 2026 with two announcements that, on paper, sit in different parts of the business. One is about technology: Diamond AI, a suite of three AI capabilities built directly into the company’s Diamond platform. The other is about distribution: a strategic partnership with Way.com that hands agents new, built-in revenue opportunities. Taken together, though, they tell a single story about where Insuresoft is headed as the industry moves past ITC and into year-end planning: on both the technology and distribution sides of the business, the company is shipping finished work, not roadmaps.

That distinction matters more than usual this year. Capgemini’s 2026 World Property and Casualty Insurance Report found that 60% of insurers are still at the exploration or proof-of-concept stage with AI, and only 10% have scaled it enterprise-wide. Diamond AI is built to answer that gap directly, with three capabilities now live rather than in pilot. Diamond Chat is an internal assistant that helps underwriting, policy, and claims teams find answers across policies, claims, and risk data, and flags items for review. Brilliance reads filings, rates, and rules documents, flags inconsistencies, and generates the configuration Diamond needs, cutting implementation time. Workflow Orchestrator automates repetitive, multi-step processes triggered by events inside Diamond, keeping people in the loop wherever judgment or compliance requires it.

“What makes this genuinely different is that Brilliance is already doing real implementation work with customers,” said Ronnie Moorehead, Associate Director of Software Development at Insuresoft, who noted Brilliance is live on two implementation projects. “We’re moving beyond AI as a pilot or proof of concept and using it to increase the speed of implementation and go-lives.” Moorehead added that the approach reflects a deliberate strategy rather than a rushed response to market pressure: “AI in insurance is moving quickly, but we’re not approaching it as a blank slate.”

The agent-facing announcement lands in a similar place. Insuresoft’s new partnership with Way.com integrates Way Advantage, a set of four protection products, directly into Insuresoft’s platform. The lineup includes Way Roadside; Way Glass; a Supplemental Protection Suite spanning tire repair, accidental damage protection, contents insurance, paint and upholstery protection, and accidental death and dismemberment coverage; and Cashback Core. Existing Insuresoft customers can turn it on at no additional cost, and insurers newly implementing Insuresoft can deploy it as part of their broader rollout. The pitch to insurers is that agent engagement and policyholder retention are connected problems: agents with more ways to earn revenue and deliver value are more likely to stay loyal and grow production, which in turn strengthens the distribution network insurers depend on.

“Insurers succeed when their agents succeed,” said Chris Blair, Chief Executive Officer of Insuresoft. “This partnership gives insurers a simple way to provide agents with new revenue opportunities, improve retention across their distribution network, and enhance the value they deliver to policyholders.” Nagappan Arunachalam, Chief Product Officer at Way.com, framed the deal from the agent’s side: “Way Advantage provides agents with simple, high-value products they can offer in a single conversation while creating meaningful benefits for customers.”

The common thread between the two announcements is immediacy. Diamond AI isn’t being pitched as technology insurers will eventually get access to, and Way Advantage isn’t a feature on a future release schedule. Both were available the moment they were announced, and Insuresoft used its ITC Vegas booth (#2319) to show each one working rather than describe it on a slide. For insurers weighing core system partners heading into 2027 planning, that’s the signal Insuresoft is sending from Mandalay Bay this year: modernization on the technology side and growth on the distribution side don’t have to wait for each other, and neither one is waiting on Insuresoft.
